- Launch your Email the same way you usually send and
receive email.
- Choose the option "TOOLS" from the top menu.
- Choose the option "ACCOUNTS" from the drop
menu.
- A new window will open with the heading "INTERNET
ACCOUNTS" showing all email accounts you have.
- Double click on the account name that you want to modify
in the window.
- A new window will open with the heading "Email Name
PROPERTIES".
- Write down your E-Mail address that appears in the box
"E-MAIL ADDRESS"
- Now, choose from the menu the option "SERVERS"
- Now at the “Incoming Mail (POP3)” add your mail
server e.g. webmail.yourdomain.com
- At the "ACCOUNT NAME" box enter your E-MAIL
address that you wrote. e.g. user@yourdomain.com
- Now At the “Password” type in your password (this is
case sensitive)
- check the "My Outgoing Server Requires Authentication"
check box.
- When finished, click the option "OK".
- The "INTERNET ACCOUNTS" window will appear
again.
- Repeat steps 5 to 14 for each email account you have.
- When finished, choose the option "CLOSE" from
the "INTERNET ACCOUNTS" window.
Netscape Communicator ver. 4.x
- Launch your Netscape Internet Browser.
- From the main browser menu on the top
choose "EDIT".
- Choose "PREFERENCES" option
from the drag menu.
- A new window will open with the heading
"PREFERENCES"
- From the Categories displayed in the new
windows click twice on the option "MAIL &
NEWSGROUPS"
- Pick the option "MAIL SERVERS"
from the listing under the "MAIL &
NEWSGROUPS".
- At the box headed “Outgoing Mail SMTP
Server” enter your mail server address e.g.
webmail.yourdomain.com
- At the box headed "OUTGOING MAIL
SERVER USER NAME" enter your full email address. e.g.
user@yourdomain.com
- On the incoming Mail Server Section click
on the button "EDIT" on the right hand side of
the incoming mail server window.
- A new windows with the heading "MAIL
SERVER PROPERTIES" will open.
- At the box headed “Server Name” enter
your mail server address e.g. webmail.yourdomain.com
- At the box headed "USER NAME"
enter your full email address. e.g. user%yourdomain.com
(Notice the Percent sign)
- When finished, click the option
"OK".
- The windows headed " MAIL SERVER
PROPERTIES" will disappear.
- Click the option "OK" on the
"PREFERENCES" window.
- The window "PREFERENCES" will
disappear.
- Exit out of your Netscape browser.
- Repeat steps 2 to 15 for each email
account you have.
From Netscape Navigator Or Internet Explorer
- Open your web browser.
- Type in the Address window (IE) or
Location window (Netscape) HTTP://webmail.yourdomain.com
and hit enter.
- In the “User ID” box type in your
email address as your username e.g. user@yourdomain.com
then in the “Password” box type in your password and
click on “Logon”
- From here you can send & read your
email, and if you are assigned as the administer for the
domain you can change all aspects of your webmail domain.
Now you are set to access your email from
anywhere in the world that has Internet access or through your
own machine.
