If you receive a
message stating that the phonebook is empty, then
click OK to add a new entry.
If Dial-up Networking (DUN) already has other phone
book entries, click New.
When the New Phonebook
Entry Wizard window appears, type CCINet Connection
in the Name the new phonebook entry and click
on the I know all about phonebook entries
checkbox, then click Next.
The Edit
Phonebook Entry appears. On the Basic Tab, you
should have the following setups. Make sure that your
Phone number box must be set to one of
CCINet
Access Number.
On the Server
Tab, make sure that PPP: Windows NT, Windows 95
Plus, Internet is highlited and the TCP/IP is
checked. You should also checkEnable
Software Compression and Enable PPP
LCP extensions. Then click the TCP/IP
Settings... button.
Make sure that you
have the following settings on the PPP TCP/IP
Settings windows. Click OK.
The Security
Tabs should be set as follow. Do not change the
default of Script and X.25 Tab
settings.
